Anya Kapoor is a junior at Mira Costa High School whose interests lie at the intersection of writing, research, and music. She writes regularly on Substack and for the Los Angeles Times High School Insider program. Her work in psychology has been recognized by the John Locke Institute Essay Competition, and she received an NPTA Honorable Mention for her poem Over and Over. Anya is also the author of The Girl with the Light Bulb, published on Amazon, and wrote, produced, and performed the original song Petals, available on Spotify.
