Submission Eligibility
The Archive is a journal of student research that accepts submissions from current high school students (grades 9–12). Submissions must be primarily student-authored, though guidance from teachers or mentors is permitted. All work must be original, ethically conducted, and not previously published in another academic journal. Works published under blogs, submitted for assignments, or developed in an extracurricular program are permitted.
Submissions must present original research or scholarly analysis and follow formal academic writing conventions. Multiple submissions are allowed. Manuscripts should adhere to ethical research standards, meet the journal’s formatting requirements, and use a recognized academic citation style (ex. MLA, APA, Chicago). All sources must be properly cited, with a complete works cited or reference list formatted in alphabetical order. The use of artificial intelligence tools is permitted for brainstorming, topic exploration, or organizational support only; AI may not be used to generate, write, or substantially revise any portion of the submitted manuscript. All submissions undergo a peer-review process, and the editorial board reserves the right to request revisions or decline work that does not meet publication standards.
Privacy Policy
Authors may choose to publish anonymously; however, all contributors must verify their identity and student status with the editorial board, regardless of whether their work is published under their name. Please indicate on the submission form if you would like to remain anonymous in the publishing.
AI Use
Any use of artificial intelligence tools beyond the permitted purposes outlined above constitutes a violation of the journal’s academic integrity standards and may result in rejection or retraction of the work.
